Ladies and gentlemen, i am pleased to welcome you all back along with the new comers to another tantalizing season of wedge football. It has been a riveting first week of Fantasy football but lets all take a deep breathe here while we reel in the fact that it is only the first week and overexaggerating is expected. However, given that this is the only statistical evidence that i can base the power rankings off of, that means this week of the power rankings are pretty much going to be straight forward.
Editor in Chief Troop Crossland

I would like to take a minute to recognize the man behind the magic at Wedge Football Sports Troop Crossland. Troop Crossland has been Editor in Chief for three years now after winning the very first league to ever be constituted at Wedge. He thrives off gathering statistical evidence and is often the first on the scenes at updates to the football league and current events surrounding the fantasy football realm. With that being said it is an absolute pleasure that I am able to host your power rankings yet again this year. Lets dive right in shall we??
The Leaders of Wedge
1. Annalysse’s Team (1-0)
A basic name for a not so basic team. Annalysses team (please change your team name to something more riveting) can only be described as amazing. As it completely amazing viewers across the league. I mean she clearly salvaged a game that she was going to lose into a tantalizing win and now leads the league in points for Week 1. With Cowboys defense and Tyreek Hill combining for a total of 81.5 points in week 1 it is safe to say that this is a fluke that will not occur again but nothing is certain in fantasy football. Will Annalysee cruise her way all the way to the end of the season in first place or will she crumble in week 2??? Find out next episode.

2. Kaceys Unmatched Team (1-0)
Next, we have Kaceys team. It seems that estrogen is dominating this league at the only two females in the league are ahead of everyone else by a substantial amount. However, when we look at this team it is clear to see why it is ahead of everyone and has an argument for first place. For one, this team had Drake London who scored 0.0 points, absolute zilch. I mean its just ridiculous when you look at the rest of the players. Justin Jefferson scoring 24.00, Tua Tagovailoa scoring 28.14, Aaron Jones scoring 26.70 and Etienne scoring 21.40. Absolute monstrous performance from a whole team and there are no real outstanding outliers. It should be argued that this team should be in first as a whole but alas there is not much to base week 1 performance off of. Maybe week 2 we will see this team move up to the number 1 slot.

3. Adolf Rizzler (1-0)
After public besmirching of the Editor in Chief it was a tough to write a solid meaningful rating of this team. However, being a man of character the editor in chief has decided to describe this team as what it really is. A masterful performance of players orchestrating together to perform an elegant sympathy that is fantasy football. Solid all around team and it would not surprise me to see Owner Jamie take his team to the next level in week 2 and progress further up the rankings. One writes this with jealousy and curiosity in his heart as to why this Owner has chosen the name Adolf Rizzler but alas, the wonders of fantasy football work in mysterious ways. Look to see this team progress forward in the league.
4. Bamboozle Bandits (1-0)
I mean what a surprise we have here, Im not gonna lie when I first looked at this team I didnt expect much especially after Yahoo Football projected them as coming in last in the league. But Bamboozle Bandits has flipped the tables on us and has shocked the nation. The only problem I see with this team is being too Chargers dependent. I mean Chris Olave who has been neglected for years has had an outstanding performance week 1 is a great sign but The only issue is that if the chargers were to do bad in a football game that maybe that score would be reflected in the overall score of this Owners team. We look forward to seeing more from this Owners team.
5. Nicks Spendid Team (1-0)
again, change your team’s name to something other than the default. Although this team didn’t do anything too outstanding in week 1 I would consider this team to be a threat if playing against in week 2. Who knows what will happen since Owner Nick plays a heavy matchup against a team that had the best performance in the league week 1. But then again, what do week 1 performances mean anyways? Probably nothing. Best of luck to this team as it hopes to carry its team to the finals.
6. I am Inevitable (0-1)
Now youre probably asking. Why is I am inevitable getting placed 6th when Chester the molester and Inglorious Bastards clearly played a better game is ahead of him in the rankings. If you guessed that it is because I am Inevitable is also the Editor in Chief and what he makes goes, then you would be correct. Cry me a river if you disagree, I make the power rankings, I decide Troops gets a nice and higher ranking. Deal with it.

7. Inglorious Bastards (1-0)
Look at this slithering snake make his way into the undefeated teams. Was it by luck or by skill that he made it unscathed? Was it both??? You (the reader) can decide that for yourself. One thing is for certain though. This team is undefeated and with Patrick Mahomes and Stefon Diggs leading the charge on this team. This is a game I would take seriously if I was playing against.

8. Chester the Molester (0-1)
an unfortunate week 1 for Chester the molester. Having put up a strong showing and coming out defeated is disheartening in a league where every game matters. However, when CMC is the only player on your team putting up points then what is there that you can do? From the previous year’s winner of this League however it is with dutiful consideration that you do not brush aside this team and expect a comeback to ensue for this following week.
9.Steak N Eggs (0-1)
I mean to be honest Willie, I am speechless, this team looks great on paper. With Jonathan Taylor in the reserves, I’m sure this team will come up to do great things eventually. One can only hope that it is in time to make it to the final four of this league. I’m just not sure what to write about it at the moment given the current circumstances. Will give an updated review next week.
10.Stephens Notable Team (0-1)
Alright Stephen it’s only been week 1, you can turn this ship around no fret. Yes, you are on the lower end of the rainbow but that means there’s only room for improvement here. I’m giving a grace period of week 1 given that everything being recorded here is fresh and doesn’t mean much. Do not expect a merciful review next week with another performance as such.
11. Billy Heath (0-1)
I mean my God; this team looks like an absolute force to be reckoned with. I think it is by the grace of the Lord that this team is on the lower end of the spectrum in this league. I mean I for one can certainly expect a rebound to happen for this team and am just jotting this week as a fluke. However it is to be noted that this team seems to be currently plagued with suspensions and injuries. One can only hope that this team has a swift recovery in the greatest league to ever exist; Wedge Football.

12. Daniels Fabulous Team (0-1)
HAHAHA
